This Howards Cams CL120255-12 BBC Hydraulic Roller Camshaft and Lifter Kit is designed for 396-502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy engines from 1965 through 1996. Howards designed this cam for performance usage, and it features great mid-range torque and horsepower and a fair idle. A 10.0-11.5:1+ compression ratio, an aftermarket/ported intake, headers, lower rear end gears, and a 2800+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
