This Howards Cams CL120406-12 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the Gen 6 454-502 Big Block Chevy from 1996-1999. Howards designed this cam and lifter kit for street/strip use, and it has a rough idle and provides strong mid-range torque and horsepower. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio and 2800+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
