This Comp Cams 11-242-3 BBC XE268H High Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for street/performance use, and it features a slightly rough idle and is good for street machines. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 2000+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
