This Comp Cams 01-409-8 BBC Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 454-502 Gen VI Big Block Chevy from 1996-1999. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features great low-end torque and is good for towing or in RV. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio and a 1500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
