This Comp Cams 11-231-3 BBC X4 254H Xtreme 4x4 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features strong low-end along with mid-range torque and power with a good idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 1500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
