This Comp Cams 11-601-4 BBC 287TH7 Mutha' Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for high performance street/strip use, and it features strong low-end torque and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, intake, gears & headers, and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
