This Comp Cams 12-674-4 SBC Xtreme Energy Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features strong torque through low and mid-range while maintaing a good idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, lower rear end gears and a 1500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
