This Comp Cams 12-679-5 SBC Xtreme Energy Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for pro street/bracket racing, and it features good low-end torque and a rough idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, good intake, headers, gears and a 3200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
