This Comp Cams 21-600-5 BBM 279TH7 Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 383-440 Big Block Chrysler from 1959-1980. Comp designed this cam for high performance street/strip use, and it features a choppy/thumping idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
