Comp Cams 23-742-9 BBM Magnum Mechanical Roller Camshaft 308R-10

This Comp Cams 23-742-9 BBM Magnum Solid Roller Camshaft fits the 383-440 Big Block Chrysler from 1959-1980. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features great power & torque and a smooth idle. 383 requires a 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, 750-830 CFM carb, 4.30 – 4.88 rear end gears and a 4000+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended. 440 needs 3900+ stall speed torque, 800-850 CFM carb, headers, and 4.10 - 4.56 gear. *Requires distributor gear upgrade.
